This is from our second whale watch in July 2022; the first one was so exciting I couldn't wait to go on another one. Thankfully, we had several friends who were so amazed by the photos and descriptions of the first watch, they wanted us to join them on their first experience. We joyously agreed! For many, years I have longed for a shot of a whale breaching. This particular day was one I shall never forget. There was a total of 12 whale breaches including this one who breached four times consecutively. Little Emily, whom we met onboard with her Mom, watched this whale breach right in front of her. She was so calm and poised and watched with her eyes and mouth wide open! Unlike me...I jumped up and down and shouted "Woohoo!" among other things that had people giggling and so happy for me!
