This rose is dedicated to my Mom, but it is really from my Dad. A couple of days before he passed, he asked me to do something for him. He wanted me to make sure my Mother got a dozen red roses on their anniversary and on Mother's Day. I said I may not be able to afford that. He said, Then just buy her one-the most beautiful rose you can find! I agreed, and have only missed 2 of those dates since 2005, due to illness. Several years ago, Mom told me I could stop, that she never loved red roses as much as my Dad did. I was heartbroken, but I made a promise to my Dad, and I carried on. Last year for Mother's Day I gave her 6 red roses and 6 yellow tea roses. She thought they were a breathtaking bouquet! She asked me why the yellow ones, and I said those are from me. Yellow roses represent friendship & committed love. Your love as my Mom has always been a guiding light for me and your friendship has always been solid and everpresent. I love You, Mom.
