Description
Gray's Beach is on the bayside of the Cape. We were on a verrrry long boardwalk that traversed a boggy marsh area. The tide was out and the low water level left a muddy ground meandering through 3 and 4 foot high bogs. Now these are not cranberry bogs, even though this is very much the area for growing cranberries. At the end of the boardwalk was a sitting/viewing area where we met Rosie, a very sweet, kind lady native to the area. We chatted for awhile. She loves to sit here and watch the sun set, but people were starting to gather, as a beautiful sunset was promised this day. I followed her because I agree that watch something so serene is hardly peaceful with lots of people around. We all have to fine our special place in our corner of the world.I may have found mine tonight...
