Evidently, the Hippies and Flower Children of the 60's knew something about trees that most people never understood. After this old oak was struck and downed by lighteneing, it was cut to a stump for safety reasons. None of my friends saw this heart, a very unique ring growth formation, because it was upside down from where we stood. But, my soul saw it from every angle and I had to share the love! Go hug a tree...it will do you bth some good!
