Out for a ride in the Fall in New England, enjoying the gorgeous colors all around us. We stopped at an iconic little restaurant and ice cream stand for a bite to eat. I heard this howling/crying and thought a baby was hurt. A charming woman said not to worry it's just her dog, a Husky, in the car. She knows where we are and gets very impatient waiting for her ice cream!! I went over to where the dog was and tried to talk to her. Initially, she stopped whining, but since it appeared she wasn't going to get any of my ice cream (it was chocolate--bad for dogs) she started singning for her supper, so to speak!! Mom finally came to the rescue and this very happy pup lapped it all up so fast she got crazy doggie brain freeze!! Here, a few minutes later and much calmer, we see the telltale signs of a very special treat on those doggie lips!!
