Description
On vacation with family, we took a side trip to Long Beach in WA state. The Pacific was roaring in with waves upon wave upon wave. It was amazing and had me mesmerized. There was a fishing contest that morning, and although many showed up to participate, only a few actually braved the waters and entered. This woman was bound and determined to catch something! I don't know what they were after or if anyone caught anything in these turbulent waters, but she was a delight to watch. I hope she won!

I love this photograph. Did he catch anything? Congratulations on your feature in Art Salon 1. This one is one of my favorite pieces that were featured.
Lori Lafargue replied:
Thanks so much, Patty! This Fisherwoman was bound and determined to catch something to present in the contest. After 10 minutes, I moved on not wanting to impede her efforts. I can only assume with the roaring tide, that she did not catch her prize winning fish! I hope I'm wrong!
