Description
A "Bungle" bee is a species unique to young English speaking children, specifically in the southeastern area of Massachusetts. It was seen and chattered about in the early 1950s and 1960s, bit has made a resurgence with the birth of grandchildren of the "Baby Boomers" generation. A Bungle Bee can send toddlers running to Mommy screaming in dire fear of being stung or killed! Fortunately, this species is rather complacent and likes to be left alone. Just explain to the child with the Heebie Jeebies that it won't bother you if you don't bother it. Bungle bees much prefer pollen over anything else.
